Use this machine for CNC-machined parts, tooling, fixtures, housings, and mechanical components that require controlled milling. The MR1 is a 3-axis vertical CNC gantry mill with a 20 x 20.25 in. machine table, listed travels of 23.0 in. X, 21.8 in. Y, and 6.1 in. Z, and an ER-20 spindle rated up to 8,000 RPM.

This machine shop tool is staff-operated and fee-for-service only; it is not available for normal user training or self-serve booking. Users submit an idea, drawing, or existing model, and staff review the scope, quote the job, and perform the machining.
Machine shop jobs must be submitted through the job request form so the work can be reviewed and added to the Kanban queue.
